I’ve decided to add the “Waiting on Wednesday” bookish meme to my blog. I can’t always think of something for my usual Top 5 posts and I don’t always have the time to do those. Fortunately, I can ALWAYS think of a book that I’m looking forward to reading!
I absolutely cannot wait for The Aeronaut’s Windlass,the first book in Jim Butcher’s new series, to release on September 29th!!!! The Dresden Files and The Codex Alera series’ were both fantastic and had such lovable characters *cough* Harry Dresden…. I’m excited to see how he writes a steampunk fantasy. Is anyone else looking forward to The Aeronaut’s Windlass?

I just got this as an ARC and just started it. So far Im not sure how i feel about it. Its really really different than the Dresden Files and they set a high standard for me lol! I never read the Codex series.

Codex Alera was so different from the Dresden Files that sometimes I forgot they were written by the same author….. but I still thought they were pretty awesome! I’m hoping I’ll like the new series just as well.
