I started Briar Queen last week but didn’t have a chance to finish it up. It’s a solid sequel to Thorn Jack and I’m really loving the darkly fantastical nature to the series as a whole. It’s mysterious, whimsical, and I LOVE IT. I highly recommend starting this series if you’re a fan of any faerie based story or a more urban-style fantasy.
I finally picked up this little beauty and plan on reading it sometime this week in between writing up reviews and finishing two other books. Let me just say that the cover is twice as stunning in real life than it is in this picture. I just love gold embellishments! I can’t wait to find out if the story lives up to all the hype surrounding it.

I read an eARC of Rebel, so I too did not realize the gorgeousness of the cover until I saw it in the bookstore this weekend, with its golden embellishments. I hope you enjoy the book! I had fun with it 🙂
