This is my obligatory SJMaas new book post because at this point, I’m too far in to give up on this series. And the previous book was far better than expected, so perhaps Kingdom of Ash will continue with that trend. I am looking forward to seeing how the final installment of this series will play out, especially given the revelations and events that occurred in Tower of Dawn, plus that cover is just SO cool. Definitely the coolest one yet, though I’m still not sure why Celaena/Aelin was given the skin tone of a raised corpse in each one… This will be released on October 23, 2018 so I know what I’ll be doing during my free time that week – BINGE READING!

It’s a very fun series, but a little overrated. The cover is stunning though! It’s supposed to have gold foil effect 😍

I’ve had my ups and downs with this series, and I almost didn’t even read the last one until I found out it was about Chaol. I guess I’ll pick up this one too though, since it’s the last one! 🙂
