Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and it’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Received for Review:

River of Darkness by Sean Russell
Mages and lore and world destroying secrets – classic epic fantasy fare. This was originally published as a duology in 1998, but has been brought together into an omnibus edition. Thanks to DAW for the finished copy.
I couldn’t say no to new Miles Cameron and it was excellent. A review will be forthcoming. Many thanks to Orbit for the finished copy.
The Land You Never Leave by Angus Watson
This is a fun series and I was pretty excited to get a copy from Orbit. I’m a little late getting around to it though!
Cold War era magic is something I never knew I needed in my reading list. Can’t wait to check this one out. Thanks to Ace for the finished copy.
The Way of the Shield by Marshall Ryan Maresca
This one isn’t pictured since it was in another room and I forgot to grab it, but I was pretty excited for a new Maradaine story arc. A review of this will be up in a few weeks. Many thanks to DAW for the finished copy.
Purchased Books:

When Michael J. Sullivan organized a campaign to stop the price gouging on the now out of print hardcover edition of Age of Swords, I jumped on board. I didn’t have a physical copy and didn’t want to miss out on my chance to get a copy at a reasonable price. I also decided to pick up Age of War from Amazon before the same thing happened to it.
I always have some audiobooks to feature, thanks to my continual addiction to Audible credits. This time around I picked up Legion: The Many Lives of Stephen Leeds by Brandon Sanderson which is a compendium of three novellas. A review for this will be up the next day or three. I also picked up Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor which was excellent. Lastly and well, kind of obviously, I grabbed Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas because this series is addicting and this is the grand finale!

I got a couple of these in the mail too and I’m most looking forward to Cold Iron and Breach! I’m still on the fence about Kingdom of Ash, I haven’t been enjoying the last few books in the series but I suppose I should just finish!
