House of Earth and Blood will be Sarah J. Maas’s first foray into what is officially classified as “adult fantasy”. I mean, I’m of the opinion that her other series aren’t truly YA, more of the New Adult genre but that’s a discussion for another day. This is a truly lovely cover and the synopsis is interesting, but doesn’t veer to far off the mark from the feel of her previous series. I’m a total sucker for her books and will definitely read this as soon as it’s released January 2020!
Also, WHY IS THE SERIES NAME (CRESCENT CITY) WAYYYYY BIGGER THAN THE TITLE??? Talk about confusing!

I just saw this and I’m intrigued! And I hadn’t noticed that about the title being so small. That’s sort of ridiculous, I’ve never understood why publishers do that.😁

It’s a beautiful cover, but you’re right, at first glance I would have thought the title was Crescent City, but it’s the series name? Who designed this, lol!
