November 2019 Unboxing: Magical Folk

The Fairyloot book of the month is A River of Royal Blood by Amanda Joy. This is a North African inspired fantasy world that involves a war between sisters for the throne. It sounds interesting, though the reviews are fairly average.
A 2020 reading journal was included in this box and it’s pretty snazzy. It’s smaller than the reading journal included in the OwlCrate box I received recently and the interior is definitely more fantasy themed. A faux-book was also included, perfect for hiding/storing all your goodies!

A Strange the Dreamer inspired sleep mask was included and I love both the quote and design. Does anyone actually use these things though? Next up we have an iron-on patch inspire by Angelfall and a wooden bookmark inspired by Spin the Dawn.
Lastly, we have this amazing wooden ornament with a famous quote from Harry Potter and a grip-ring to attach to your phone case. The ornament (as you can see) is already on my tree! The phone ring thing is really well made, though it’s honestly the quote makes it a little too silly for me.
**I’ll note that it’s a little annoying how long it seems to take this box to arrive. It ships from a location a mere 7 hours from where I live, but it took FOREVER to actually arrive and it was shipped several days after their proclaimed 20th- 25th of the month. December will probably be the last FairyLoot box I do a review on.
