The Light of All that Falls by James Islington
Here’s to hoping that the recap at the beginning is sufficient! This book is monstrously intimidating in size, mostly because I don’t want to re-read the previous two books before checking this one out. I might get into this and change my mind, but it’s all good!

I keep seeing this advertised only to realise it’s book 3. Is the series worth diving into?

I really enjoyed the first book and don’t remember much about the second. It gives Wheel of Time vibes, so if you’ve enjoyed that series give it a go!

Wheel of Time gave me the ‘I ripped off LOTR and am pretending I didn’t’ vibes 🙈

😂😂 I only read the first three and I liked them well enough. Definitely not enough to read all 14 though!!

Think I got through 4 or 5, discovered the author had passed away and didn’t want to carry on knowing someone else was going to finish the series.

I had the first 2 on my tbr so long that I eventually just gave up and got rid of them. Now I have to decide if it’s worth putting the trilogy back on the long tbr or not.

We’ll see how this book goes. I would recommend reading them all un one go for the sake of continuity and actually remembering what’s happened 😂
