You can also pick whether you want the YA or Adult book subscription option, though it seems that the YA books are more popular!
They ship worldwide, so the only thing stopping you from subscribing is potential crazy shipping costs. I have no idea how much this would be, but if I remember correctly shipping was $8.00 for my box within the US.
December 2019 Unboxing – Ardently Austen
The whole reason I got this box is because Dangerous Alliance was the book of the month. I think I featured it as a Waiting on Wednesday several months back and I read it almost as soon as the box came in! I like the shirt this month (rather on trend I guess) and will make a fine addition to my lounge shirt collection.
These are the “big” items of the month – a enamel coated mug and a mug coozie. I love getting new mugs, though I do generally prefer ceramic so I can microwave it. Unfortunately, the mug arrived damaged thanks to rough handling in the mail and I’ll have to toss it. The enamel was chipped on the inside and outside and the metal is quite thin and flaky and I don’t want to chug metal bits with my tea.
The little typewriter necklace is super cute and definitely something I can incorporate into my jewelry rotation. The pin is…. not my favorite. Bookish Box is the most hit and miss with their pin designs and out of the four or five boxes I’ve gotten, two pins were just bleh.
I really loved the candle this month and it smells LOVELY. It has a wood wick instead of a string wick and has pretty good scent diffusion. This is a candle from the Bookish Shop, so I think that speaks well of their other candle products.
And lastly, the papery bits. The art is nice and will be added to my stack of bookmarks.
