City of Stone and Silence by Django Wexler
OOOooo yeah! This is a solid series and I’ve been enjoying it immensely which I expected, given my appreciation for the authors adult fantasy books. The covers are cool and the plot is fairly unique – mages, ghost ships, hidden island where time doesn’t work quite right, etc.
