Basic Box Info
The Equinox Box is a quarterly subscription box that is available as a one time purchase for $45USD + shipping or as a subscription for $40USD + shipping. There are also seasonal boxes available for purchase that are not included in the subscription. Each box has a seasonal theme and a bunch of goodies that go along with it.
The overall box aesthetic is fabulously spooky and vintage. It reminds me of the family Halloween pictures I’ve seen from the 70’s.
This teeny mug is SO retro!!! Candy, a spider ring, plastic vampire teeth, and lick n’ stick tattoos were also included to round out the childhood flashback. These really awesome spooky drink coasters pair so well with the mug!
A cool vinyl sticker and mysterious glittery skull were also included. I legit thought the skull was soap or something, but alas, it is only resin. The mini candle has the most incredible, weird Tootsie Roll + Skittles scent. Totally wish it were available as a full size candle!
The Halloween tote is nifty (it has a zip top!) and the Future Ghost patch might be my very favorite thing. It just makes me laugh. The pin is inspired by Hocus Pocus – which I admit, I’ve never watched it.
Bookmarks and post cards!! I can always use more bookmarks and I think the postcards will spice up my bulletin board at work quite nicely for the season.
The lantern was a big surprise and very timely since we were re-running some cables and needed a little extra light. The last items in the box were this cool vintage game and a spooky short story (not pictured).
Overall, I thought this was a super cool seasonal box. I’m probably going to purchase the winter box as a single purchase rather than do a quarterly subscription since fall and winter are my favorite subscription box seasons. I love the vintage vibes and I think the artwork is gorgeous!
