I don’t usually go for books with a horror/scary vibe until I’ve seen a few good review but if it has an amazing synopsis then I can’t help myself. The Dark Between the Trees just sounds unbelievably cool! In 1643 a group of soldiers wander into Moresby Wood and only two return, claiming something dark and hungry lurked within. In present day, a group of five women led by Dr. Alice Christopher go in prepared for anything in order to determine what happened to those soldiers so many centuries before. This will be released October 11, 2022 – the perfect season for such a haunting read!
