Saint Death’s Daughter by C.S.E. Cooney
The synopsis for this book sounds amazing – Lanie Stones is born to a family of royal assassins, but she is in fact a necromancer and is therefore allergic to violence. She’s also trying to save the family home from massive accrued debt. Sounds good, is also very weird. The jury’s still out on whether or not this will be a win for me.
