I love the continued uptick in Arabian inspired fantasy worlds! Spice Road is about a girl with an affinity to iron who desires to become the next great Shield (battler of ghouls, djinn, etc.). When her brother betrays their city, she volunteers to capture him before he can reveal the location of their hidden desert city. I love the magical elements and color scheme of the cover and the plot sounds exciting! This will be released January 24, 2023!

She’s having a new book coming out next year. I think there was also a short book based on Daevbad that came out on audio earlier.
