The Cradle of Ice by James Rollins
This is an absolute doorstopper, clocking in at 672 pages, so right now it’s my only planned read for the week. This is another sequel I’ve been highly anticipating and I’m hopeful that it will be as good as the first book. I just really love the animal companions in this series!
Not much excitement in the last week, which I’m certainly not complaining about! The first of the crocuses and snowdrops are starting to bloom here which means I need to find a nice planter for the ranunculus and fancy tulip bulbs I have tucked away in the basement. I’m still listening to the Mickey7 audiobook, which is turning out to be a quick, fun read!

I’m going to dive into Cradle of Ice tonight too, settling in for the long haul because it’s a brick of a book!

I’ve been reading it for like, a week. I almost hate to pick up fantasy over 500 pages anymore because it wrecks my reading schedule!
