The Cage of Dark Hours by Marina Lostetter
This book is unbelievably weird and a surprisingly quick read thus far, despite being 464 pages. I am so intrigued by the magic and the world, but the plot is somewhat nebulous at this early point.
Foxglove Summer by Ben Aaronovitch
I couldn’t stay away from Peter Grant for long. The world and the case of the week theme keeps me endlessly entertained and this one, as implied by the title, is set in the summer which I am totally dreaming of right now.
I’m also still slowly making progress on The Cradle of Ice by James Rollins, which is entertaining but DAMN is it a long book. I think I’m just not cut out for these doorstopper fantasy novels anymore, especially if its an ARC. I feel the pressure of non-existent deadlines!

I was sent a copy of Cradle of Ice (I don’t think I requested it) but I haven’t read the first book yet. Long books take me forever to read too, I try to avoid them😁 Good luck!
