I’ve been eagerly awaiting the return of this world! It’s full of guild politics, action, and cool magical powers. I admit, I’ve forgotten a ton about the first book, but haven’t had much trouble getting back up to speed!
Keeper of Enchanted Rooms by Charlie N. Holmberg
Tentatively planning to start this audiobook. It’s a cozy fantasy about taming a persnickety enchanted house that I picked up from Kindle Unlimited (ebook/audiobook combo).
It’s finally starting to feel like spring again here! Flowers are blooming and my lawn is going to need mowing very soon. In other exciting news, John Wick 4 was SO COOL! The set design is incredible, particularly for the extended action sequences. There’s one particular scene with a top down camera view that reminds me of a video game – absolutely the coolest thing! The ending was really well done and I have no quibbles whatsoever with the movie as a whole. I’ll definitely be tuning in to The Continental prequel tv series whenever it’s released (maybe 2023?).
