Stacking The Shelves is a weekly (or in my case monthly) meme hosted by Reading Reality and it’s all about sharing the books you’ve added to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course audiobooks and ebooks!
Received for Review:

Navola by Paolo Bacigalupi
This is definitely one of my most exciting ARCs of the year! Navola is set in a world reminiscent of Renaissance Italy and sounds like it would be perfect for fans of The Lies of Locke Lamora.
The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst
The Spellshop looks like one of the most beautiful, cozy fantasy romances of the year and I can’t wait to check it out. I mean, just look at that cover!
Foul Days by Genoveva Dimova
All I needed to see was “The Witcher meets Naomi Novik”. Sold.
How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying by Django Wexler
Sounds like a good instruction manual for life. Django Wexler writes some darn good books and I’m curious to see how this one works for me, especially since it sounds like it leans toward the humorous.
Assassins Anonymous by Rob Hart
I saw Tammy feature this book recently and not only do I love assassins, but I also really dig this cover. I got a NetGalley approval super quickly, which was very exciting!
Thanks to Knopf, Bramble, Tor Books, Orbit Books, and G.P. Putnam’s Sons for the eARCs!
My Purchases:
A pretty reasonable haul for the last month! I had pre-ordered House of Flame and Shadow, which finally arrived several days after the release date (good thing I got the audiobook). I also finally received my hardcover copy of Esrahaddon, which very excitingly has a quote from my review of Farilane on the back!! Next up we have Northern Wrath by Thilde Kold Holdt, which was the January book from The Broken Binding. And lastly, the beautiful December and January book picks from FairyLoot – Faebound by Saara el-Arifi and The City of Stardust by Georgia Summers.

Amazing haul! I’m glad you got Assassins Anonymous, his books are a lot of fun. And wow, those sprayed edges😍😍😍
