Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly themed post first created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010 and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s theme is all about the books that I used to love but I’m worried just might not hit the same way after a re-read. I am going WAAAYYYY back to childhood for some of these that I remember absolutely loving at the time!

- Redwall by Brian Jacques
- The Sea of Trolls by Nancy Farmer
- Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
- Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause
- Tithe by Holly Black

I loved Tithe too! And I’ll never find out if it stands the test of time because I don’t do rereads😂

I almost never have time for re-reads, but I think Tithe is one best left in my teenage years!

I agree about Fourth Wing. I think I got caught up in the hype lol.

I was definitely caught in the hype and I think I would be much more critical on a second read through!

I recently read Throne of Glass and Fourth Wing and enjoyed them both. And I LOVE Assassin’s Apprentice, so I’m hoping that one at least holds up

I’ve been wanting to do a Throne of Glass re-read for a few years now, so I hope when I do I like is as much as I remember!

Yes, I wonder about Tithe – I loved it at the time. But, I also tend to not reread. Perhaps I should one time – just as an experiment.
