Immortal Pleasures by V. Castro
I was really looking forward to this, but the 3.19 average rating on Goodreads is quite disheartening. Perhaps I’ll be one of the lucky few who this works for because I love the concept!
I made great progress on my reading list in the last week, knocking out two review books and making a nice dent in Empire of the Damned, which I feel like I’ve been listening to FOREVER. I’ve been sinking a ton of time into Stardew Valley, which just had a tremendously huge update with a ton of new content and I’m loving it. It’s actually a great game to play while listening to an audiobook, so I’m hoping to finish up Empire of the Damned this week and pick up something new.

Let me know how it is if you get farther than I did, I think I stopped at chapter 2 or 3. It has a winning premise, but the writing (in the ARC at least) felt extremely poorly executed.
