This is an action-packed story about an assassin who is trying to give up killing, but the past has come back to haunt him. I’m really enjoying it!
The Court of Mortals by A.J. Lancaster
I couldn’t resist beginning the third book in the Stariel quartet immediately after I finished The Prince of Secrets. While I don’t think I’ll love it as much as the first book, I think the series overall has been really entertaining.
The rain has finally stopped for a few days, so I’m taking full advantage of the gorgeous weather! My veggies and flowers are starting to grow and I’m looking forward to the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. The Silverblood Promise audiobook will be keeping me company for at least the next week while I do all my yard work, cleaning, and Stardew Valley-ing.
