Stacking The Shelves is a weekly (or in my case monthly) meme hosted by Reading Reality and it’s all about sharing the books you’ve added to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course audiobooks and ebooks!
Received for Review:

The Whispering Night by Susan Dennard
An exciting conclusion to one of my recent favorite YA series. I can’t wait to check this out soon!
The Bane Witch by Ava Morgyn
I really enjoyed this author’s most recent book, The Witches of Bone Hill. This latest witchy tale is about a woman who fakes her own death to escape her marriage and then disappears to live with her aunt, only to find that now she’s attracted the attention of a serial killer.
Servant of Earth by Sarah Hawley
This follows a human woman trapped in the Fae court who must survive a series of elemental trials AND also try to overthrow the king. I love the cover and I’m so intrigued!
Wooing the Witch Queen by Stephanie Burgis
It’s been ages since I’ve read Stephanie Burgis and I am stoked about this latest, which is a fantasy romance about a witch queen and her librarian, who isn’t who he says he is. Also, just look at that gorgeous cover!
The Devils by Joe Abercrombie
I don’t think I can put off reading The Devils much longer after checking out the first few pages even though it’s not out until May 2025. I think it’s going to be incredible, but truthfully, I would expect no less from Abercrombie.
My Purchases:
Even though I haven’t posted in over a month, I have a reasonable purchase haul! I recently received the Foxglove Romance editions of Paladin’s Strength, Paladin’s Hope, and Paladin’s Faith by T. Kingfisher. In September, I received the FairyLoot edition of The Gods Below by Andrea Stewart, and the Broken Binding edition of Jade Legacy by Fonda Lee.
My purchase hauls will be lighter for the next few months, as I have unsubscribed from FairyLoot because I just haven’t had time to read many of the books I’ve received and I skipped the current Broken Binding subscription pick because even though the books were gorgeous, I’m not a big Tad Williams fan.

Lots of these books sound really good! I detect a bit of a spooky season theme with this selection too 👀
