Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao
I think I’m going to dip my toes into Water Moon this week for a nice change of pace. This is also the book that’s been sitting on my NetGalley shelf the longest, even though it doesn’t come out until January 14.
A Tide of Black Steel by Anthony Ryan
Even though I received an eARC of this, I didn’t get around to it before the release date back in September so I’ve picked up the audiobook. I generally enjoy Steven Brand’s narration and I might even try some immersion reading (where you listen and read at the same time) if my schedule allows.
I’ve had good success with audiobooks in the last week and should have Grimm Curiosities finished up by the time this post goes up. It’s also time for some holiday baking – I’ve been trying to narrow down my choice of cookies/treats to make! I should also be finalizing my Best of 2024 list this week for posting sometime before the end of December. It’s been tough to narrow down which books to put on it, as I limit myself to 20 each year and I’ve had tons of 4.5 star ratings this year!

I’m curious about Water Moon. I don’t have a copy for review, but it was tempting me!

Fingers crossed I’ll enjoy it more than The Full Moon Cafe, which had a similar vibe.
