A Language of Dragons by S.F. Williamson
Bletchley Park with dragons! The release date for this one really snuck up on me, so I’m going to try to get it read this week and hopefully post a review next week. It sounds so good and it’s got a great rating on Goodreads!
Diavola by Jennifer Thorne
I was curious about this book when it released in early 2024, but didn’t quite have time to pick it up then. Talk about unputdownable! I’ve been struggling to get through audiobooks, but I’ve nearly finished this one in two days. The characters are all so dysfunctional, the villa is creepy, and the Italian scenery is both lovely and the perfect backdrop for this spooky tale.
The first snow storm of 2025 is hitting, though, where I live it looks like it will have turned to rain by the time this post goes live. Hopefully it won’t be ice! Either way, I have a nice lasagna to heat up, cozy blankets, and plenty of reading to do.

I’ve just read and reviewed A Language of Dragons. I really enjoyed it. Hope that you do too.
