Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings to share upcoming book releases that we’re excited about! This meme is based on Waiting on Wednesday, which was created and hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

While I haven’t read the source material, a wildly popular Draco/Hermione fanfic, I’ve heard enough about Alchemised over the years that the de-Potterization and publication of the story has really intrigued me. I love the cover, which is quite dark and moody (perfect for a dark romance). This follows Helena, an alchemist working for the Resistance who lost many of her memories and is now imprisoned by a powerful necromancer trying to tap into her lost memories. I really don’t know what to expect from this, but I am insatiably curious about it. Alchemised currently has a release date of September 30, 2025.
