The Medusa Protocol by Rob Hart
Since June is rapidly approaching, it’s high time I pick up The Medusa Protocol! This is the sequel to Assassins Anonymous which was one of my top reads of 2024 and it follows Astrid, another of the Assassins Anonymous members who gets captured and must find a way to escape without compromising her mission to no longer kill.
A Fatal Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum by Emma Southon
This is one of the non-fiction books I picked up recently and it is all about crime and punishment in ancient Rome. I expect this to be a slower read, simply because it’s non-fiction so I’ll probably be working through this for more than a week unless it’s like, reallllly interesting.
I’m also still listening to The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones, which is really good though I haven’t been devoting as much time to audiobooks this week. Hoping to wrap it up soon so I can start The Knight and the Moth! It’s a holiday weekend, so I’ve gotten an extra day to hang out with my husband. I’m still on maternity leave and the days of the week have begun to run together but I’m getting so much reading in!!
