Stacking The Shelves is a weekly (or in my case monthly) meme hosted by Reading Reality and it’s all about sharing the books you’ve added to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course audiobooks and ebooks!
Received for Review:
Voidwalker by S.A. MacLean
I didn’t get around to reading the Phoenix Keeper, so I figured I should check out S.A. MacLean’s latest book, which is a romantasy that has a lot going on. It sounds fun and the early reviews are good!
The Two Lies of Faven Sythe by Megan E. O’Keefe
I’ve been meaning to read more sci-fi and there’s no better place to pick up than with a new standalone from Megan E. O’Keefe. I’ve really enjoyed her previous sci-fi works I’ve read so I think this will be a win!
Shroud by Adrian Tchaikovsky
This is basically a survival story, but on a radioactive planet with high gravity and no oxygen. Again, Adrian Tchaikovsky is a no-brainer when it comes to picking up a new sci-fi read.
The Irresistible Urge to Fall For Your Enemy by Brigitte Knightley
I’ve actually already read this ARC, which was fantastic! I had such fun reading this and recommend picking it up when it releases July 8!
The Witch Roads by Kate Elliott
I’ve really been looking forward to this for no other reason than the synopsis intrigued me.
Stone and Sky by Ben Aaronovitch
I can’t believe I got a finished copy of this! I’m sooo excited to check out Stone & Sky which is the tenth installment in the Rivers of London series and this time Peter Grant will be going to Scotland.
Thanks to Orbit, Ace, Tor Books, and DAW for the ARCs and finished copies!

Fallen City by Adrienne Young
I previously enjoyed Spells for Forgetting and am looking forward to seeing what Adrienne Young does with romantasy! This follows to characters of different stations as they play political games and end up on opposite of a long brewing conflict.
The Summer War by Naomi Novik
This is a wee little novella about a witch who accidentally cursed her brother and must find a way to undo the spell.
The Blackfire Blade by James Logan
James Logan definitely left me wanting more from this world at the end of The Silverblood Promise. I’m excited to see where things go in the city of Korslakov as Lukan tries to uncover his deceased father’s secrets.
Turns of Fate by Anne Bishop
I had a great time reading The Others series from Anne Bishop and I’m excited to check out the first book in her newest series, Isle of Wyrd. This follows a detective investigating supernatural crimes.
The Hearth Witch’s Guide to Magic and Murder by Kiri Callaghan
This is somewhat similar to Turns of Fate in that it involves investigation of supernatural crime. I just… really like mysteries/investigative fantasy novels.
Savage Blooms by S.T. Gibson
This is an exciting October release that just intrigued me. S.T. Gibson is a talented writer and I can’t wait to check out this story!
Thanks to Saturday Books, Del Rey Books, Tor Books, Ace, and Poisoned Pen Press for the eARCs!

Good haul! I’m looking forward to picking up Voidwalker soon.
