Lake Silence by Anne Bishop
I enjoyed the Others series and am now getting around to the companion/sequel series starting with Lake Silence. I’m not far into this one, so I haven’t gotten a good feel for the story yet, but hopefully I’ll enjoy it!

I decided to switch to a physical copy of The Fallen & the Kiss of Dusk because I hated the narration for Asar, who gets his own POV chapters in this book. It’s definitely more tolerable in print!
