Stacking The Shelves is a weekly (or in my case monthly) meme hosted by Reading Reality and it’s all about sharing the books you’ve added to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course audiobooks and ebooks!
Received for Review:

The Faraway Inn by Sarah Beth Durst
I will read all the books by Sarah Beth Durst, YA or otherwise. This sounds super cute and follows a teen girl who is spending the summer at her aunt’s inn. The inn is described as ‘otherworldly’, so I’m expecting either portal fantasy, faeries, or both.
An Arcane Inheritance by Kamilah Cole
Dark academia!!! And this glorious linocut style cover! I’m very much looking forward to this and right now it’s my singular December ARC.
Thistlemarsh by Moorea Corrigan
Crumbling estates and dangerous faerie bargains fill the pages of this lovely book. It reminds me of a mish-mash of several books that have come out in the last several years and I can’t wait to see how it stacks up.
A Judgement of Powers by Benedict Jacka
I wasn’t planning on accepting more November ARCs, but I forgot this was coming out and had to snag a copy. This is such a fun, fast paced series and the books are fairly short so I should be able to read it in no time!
Thanks to Delacorte, Poisoned Pen Press, Berkley, and Ace for the eARCs!
My Purchases:
I put this post off a week just so I could feature all these in one haul! I got this cool edition of The Second Death of Locke from my final Illumicrate box, though I have to admit I prefer the original cover art. I also received two books from The Broken Binding – the September Fantasy sub book was Fevered Star and the September SF&F book was Crossroads of Ravens. And lastly, the Subterranean Press edition of Light Bringer.

I agree, I also want to read all of Sarah Beth Durst’s books. So I need to request The Faraway Inn for sure!

Looking forward to your review of the Faraway Inn! And, so I’ve been trying to get a copy of Judgement of Powers for months, and they randomly granted me access on my personal email two days ago. Not sure I’ve ever been so happy and so annoyed at the same time 😂
