Welcome to my new Weekly Recap post, which will be replacing the Currently Reading post I was featuring each Monday! I think recapping my week will be a bit easier than planning what I’ll be reading for the week since I tend to deviate from my plan.
I’m still slowing reading through The Keeper of Magical Things by Julie Leong. This is a cute story but I’ve been distracted by gaming and have been listening to audiobooks more this week.
I finished up The Silkworm and decided to go ahead and pick up Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith instead of taking a break from the series. I’m pretty well hooked at this point, though I’ll probably check out a different genre after finishing this one.
I’ve been playing a ton of Disney Dreamlight Valley, as they have some Halloween events going on AND I’m trying to wrap up the Storybook Vale main questlines before the new expansion comes out in November. I also started playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which is actually fantastic and I love the different play style.
I also resubscribed to CanvaPro (well, it was a free trial) to update some of my blog graphics and create some new ones to fit the new post types I’ll be adding. I love that I have a pretty basic template I like and I can basically just change up the background and text a bit to keep things fresh!
