Stacking The Shelves is a weekly (or in my case monthly) meme hosted by Reading Reality and it’s all about sharing the books you’ve added to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course audiobooks and ebooks!
Received for Review:
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Stacking the Shelves post, so I have several physical books to share! I received ARCs of Moonfall by Ed Crocker, An Arcane Study of Stars by Sydney J. Shields, and The Tricky Business of Faerie Bargains by Reena McCarty and a finished copy of A Forest, Darkly by A.G. Slatter.
Many thanks to Tor Books, Orbit Books, and Titan Books for the review copies!

Steel Gods by Richard Swan
The second book in The Great Silence trilogy and my current read. This is a fantastic mix of politics, magic, and horror.
Mortedant’s Peril by R.J. Barker
Fantasy murder mystery – literally all I need to know. It helps that I already love R.J. Barker’s work, but this sounds excellent.
The Children by Melissa Albert
It’s been awhile since I’ve read a Melissa Albert book, but this sounds very on brand for her. Creepy and fairytale-esque.
This Blade of Ours by Shalini Abeysekara
I wasn’t expecting a sequel to This Monster of Mine, but I’m thrilled to have This Blade of Ours! Hopefully I’ll like this as much as the first book.
Three Hitmen and a Baby by Rob Hart
This is the third book in the Assassins Anonymous series and it sounds like quite an adventure! This series is so much fun!
Thanks to Orbit Books, Tor Books, William Morrow, Union Square & Co, and G.P. Putnam’s Sons for the eARCs!
My only new acquisitions lately are The Broken Binding editions of The Bone Shard Daughter and the Bone Shard Emperor by Andrea Stewart. These are absolutely beautiful and the pictures don’t do the books justice!

I can’t wait for Three Hitmen and a Baby! I just finished A Forest Darkly and loved it😁
