The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski I've always been curious about the Witcher books, especially since I actually sat down and began to play one of the games. Geralt is way cool - monster killer, assassin, etc... the man's got some talent. If you've read this, let me know what you think! I'll also... Continue Reading →
Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas So, I actually forgot this book was coming out in September but was quickly reminded when searching for my next audiobook purchase! I'm about halfway through and so far it's MILES better than Empire of Storms, which I was disappointed by in many ways. I have renewed hope... Continue Reading →
One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake Finally, I have time to read this!! I’ve been SO excited to get to One Dark Throne because Three Dark Crowns was one of my favorite YA books of 2016 and I can’t wait to share what I think of it! Changeless by Gail Carriger I couldn’t... Continue Reading →
An Alchemy of Masques and Mirrors by Curtis Craddock With its soon upcoming release date and promising synopsis, I couldn't bring myself to wait any longer to check out this debut fantasy. Early reviews are mostly very positive, so I think I'll like it! I'm also still listening to With Blood Upon the... Continue Reading →
Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and it’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Received... Continue Reading →
With Blood Upon the Sand by Bradley P. Beaulieu Finally, I'm going to catch up on this series and before the next installment will be released! I'm a bit less than halfway, but it's proving to be just as amazing as the first book. An Echo of Things to Come by James Islington... Continue Reading →
The Court of Broken Knives by Anna Smith Spark UMM, YES. I'm only about 60 pages in as I type this, but I already love the story. I mean seriously, a desert dragon attacks people a mere few chapters in and there's a fair bit of blasé morbidity about the whole situation. This debut fantasy... Continue Reading →
Age of Assassins by R.J. Barker Books about assassins are pretty much always good and this is no exception to the rule! I'm listening to the audio version (thanks Hachette Audio!) which is well done with good variation in character voices. Can't wait to finish it up and share my review! I'll also... Continue Reading →
The List by Patricia Forde I feel a bit guilty because I've had this hanging out on my Kindle since like January. Now, at long last I'm going to read it! This is a middle-grade, which I tend to steer clear of, but the synopsis was pretty intriguing. Wicked Like a Wildfire by Lana... Continue Reading →
Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare Finally decided to pick up the audiobook of this so I can catch up!! I really wanted to read the physical book, but my schedule simply won't allow that. Hopefully this is just as good as Lady Midnight. I'll also be finishing Age of Swords this week -... Continue Reading →
