So, I REALLY love Michael J. Sullivan's books and I'm hoping this one will be no different! Age of Myth is the first in a new five book series set long before the events of the Riyria Chronicles and Riyria Revelations. I've received an advanced copy from Del Rey/NetGalley and I'm going to be starting... Continue Reading →
Published: July 5, 2016 Publisher: Greenwillow Books Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy Pages: 464 (Hardcover) I'm new to V.E./Victoria Schwab's writing, but what I've read thus far has impressed me. It's been a long while since I've done a Waiting on Wednesday post, so here's a really good one -- The Waking Fire by Anthony Ryan. I was very fond of Blood Song and I'm hoping that The Waking Fire will be a strong start to Ryan's new series, The Draconis Memoria. I also hope... Continue Reading →

I've just finished up Shadows of Self, which was wonderful and really kind of sad at the same time, but the coolest part... Continue Reading →
I know that July 2016 is a LONG way off, but I am super excited for The Thorn of Emberlain! After reading the Republic of Thieves, I was disheartened because I felt the story had really gone into a slump. I disliked Sabetha, the flashbacks were not my favorites, and I was annoyed by the... Well, I know Shadows of Self technically released yesterday, but I'm still waiting on it. This is the second novel in the second Mistborn trilogy. A second of seconds, if you will. I thoroughly enjoyed the Alloy of Law (released 2011), probably even more so than the first era Mistborn novels. I love how the... Continue Reading →
I've decided to add the "Waiting on Wednesday" bookish meme to my blog. I can't always think of something for my usual Top 5 posts and I don't always have the time to do those.
