A Touch of Gold is just one of those books that caught my eye while browsing Goodreads. This is a story inspired by the tale of King Midas, whose touch turns all to gold which is more of a curse than a blessing. I mean, imagine the staggering inflation and devaluation of gold… That aside, this book looks like a fun read with a fairly formulaic-but entertaining plot, and at last – a myth that hasn’t yet been wrung dry of content by YA authors!!
