Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice
I’ve always wanted to check out one of Anne Rice’s books and this one seemed like the logical place to start. I saw very mixed reviews of it and in many cases people said the movie was better than the book. I too have mixed feeling about this… all of the vampires drive me absolutely nuts.

The Tower of Living and Dying by Anna Smith Spark
I’m fairly certain that after reading this particular book I’m going to need some lighter fare. I can’t wait to jump back into this gritty, violent world to see how things progress!

Good luck with Interview…
I”m definitely on the “detractors” side of things…

I love Interview with the Vampire, but I can see why it might feel dated. It was written in the 70s after all😁

I loved interview when I read it like 24 or 25 years ago. Wow doing the math on that just now hurt a bit. Anyway I wonder if a that has anything to do with it? It was pretty popular back then but we’ve had a couple different iterations of vampire types since then so Rice’s May feel off or dated. Maybe. I don’t know, just a thought/question.
