I’m a little early posting this since it doesn’t come out until May 2019, but I when I saw that Guy Gavriel Kay was releasing a new book I just had one of those “YES!!!” moments. Just had to share, you know? A Brightness Long Ago looks like it will be a stand alone novel not connected with his other stories and I think it has an assassin!! Why else would someone be climbing into someone else’s chambers with an intent to kill? While I don’t think this cover is quite as breathtaking as his other books, it’s still appealing in it’s own right and I dig the warm colors and the overlapping birds.
