The Way of the Shield by Marshall Ryan Maresca
Wow, so here we are with series #4 in the Maradaine universe. I’m ~40% through this one and it’s good, but so far I just haven’t clicked with the characters the same way as the previous books. Only time will tell!
Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas
Obviously I just have to check this one out as soon as it’s released! My feelings toward this series were much more positive after The Tower of Dawn and I hope the series ends strongly. This has definitely been a major player/influencing series in the YA genre it just needs to end on a solid high note!

I’ve debated about reading the new Maresca, just because I feel like I’ve read so many books by him already! I was thinking of giving another author a try. His books do tend to be fun though
