I’ve been on a YA kick lately mostly because they’re quick, fun reads that don’t bog me down and there are some awesome looking new releases coming out soon. The Guinevere Deception is a retelling of, you guessed it, the King Arthur story but from Guinevere’s perspective. I’m down for some courtly intrigue and the synopsis says her whole existence is a lie?? What is that even about? I’m definitely excited for this one and if I can’t snag an ARC I’ll probably pick up the audiobook when it’s released in November 2019.

I like the sound of this one and it has a great cover. I’ve read this author before but it was a while ago and in fact I think her debut novel – which was good – but I don’t think I’ve read anything by her since so this could be a good way to rectify that.
