The House on Vesper Sands sounds like a delicious Victorian mystery – missing girls, a dead seamstress with a message sewn into her skin, and an intriguing cast of characters. The cover is what initially drew me to the book. It’s quite visually appealing and I like the butterflies and moths. This was originally released in 2018, but is making it’s US debut in January 2021.

I love books with a Victorian setting and this sounds really good with the missing girls and dead seamstress (although that sounds terrible now I’ve put it that way!).
