Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse
Wow, this book is really something! I totally get all the praise I’ve seen for it and can’t wait to see how the whole book plays out. I love that the book is set in a world inspired by the pre-Columbian Americas – it makes the whole setting unique and somewhat unpredictable since so few books have this setting/cultural influence.
The Fall of Koli by M.R. Carey
I can’t believe this trilogy is wrapping up already! It’s been quite an adventure, following Koli’s journey across a post-apocalyptic world with his unlikely companions.

I loved Black Sun! It was my first Roanhorse novel, but I’m ready for more!

The Koli series is one of the best post-apocalyptic stories I remember reading, indeed.
