The Coward by Stephen Aryan
I love the premise for this AND it’s my first Stephen Aryan novel! Basically, what if the guy lauded as a hero just got lucky and beat the bad guy… and now there’s a new bad guy that everyone wants him to dispose of. I can’t wait to check it out this week!

Son of A Liche by J. Zachary Pike
Amazingly this has even higher ratings than Orconomics! I’m only an hour or so into the story and I think it’s going to be another rollicking good time balanced out with a serious plot.

  1. Absolutely loved Orconomics and Son of a Liche.

If you enjoy that kind of thing I’d highly recommend the ‘Critical Failures’ series by Robert Bevan (bit more crass and college humoury, but utterly hilarious).

There’s also NPCs by (I think) Drew Hayes. Bit more serious than funny but still really good 🙂

  2. I hope you like the Coward! Then you’ll have to read the rest of his stuff and I’ll finally have someone to talk to about them all. Yay!! 😁

      1. Well, Battlemage is the first one, and all the other books take place after it. So… I guess there? I can’t wait to hear what you think of the Coward!
