Locklands by Robert Jackson Bennett
Wow, so I’m maybe 10% into the book as I type this and what a time skip! I’m honestly not sure what to expect from this, but I hope it’s a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.
I’m also still working my way through Of Darkness and Light by Ryan Cahill, which I started last week. I’ve been going through audiobooks so slowly lately but man, it’s good!

Sadly I think I’m not going to enjoy it a ton 😭 I’m about 40% in and it’s just not great!

There’s a timeskip eh? Does it throw off the sense of breakneck speed that the rest of the trilogy has shown?

So, it was an 8 year time skip and it reallllly threw me off. Tremendous changes, new characters, new technology- so much that it almost felt like I was starting a new series.

Well, thanks for the warning about the time skip – 8 years though. This will be one of my forthcoming reads so this doesn’t fill me with positive vibes. Eek.
