The Lord of Stariel by A.J. Lancaster
I’ve had this on my Kindle for months and finally decided I was in the mood to read it and it’s so good! It follows Hetta, who’s father has just passed away and she must now return home to Stariel so a new Lord can be chosen by the land. There’s magic, fae, and some good ol’ family drama.
The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo
At long last, a new audiobook!! I’ve only just begun listening to this, but I think it’s going to be amazing. The narration is great and I’m hooked already.
I’m out of town for a few days this week, so I expect I’ll be getting lots of reading done in the evenings after work stuff is done. If I finish up The Lord of Stariel, I’m really tempted to get Dungeon Crawler Carl and check it out because it’s getting a ton of positive reviews lately. LitRPG isn’t my usual genre choice, but I’m intrigued.Â
I got my pre order of The Familiar and I might start it this week!

I might pick up a hardcover if I enjoy it because it has the most gorgeous end papers!
