The Fury of the Gods by John Gwynne
I decided it was time to pick up another backlist read that I need to get off of my NetGalley queue. I picked up the audiobook, just so I’d also have time (theoretically) to work my way through my February ARCs. So far, I’m really enjoying it in this format thanks to some excellent narration!
I’m still reading through the latest Emily Wilde installment and the Anthony Bourdain book I started last week. It’s been a slow reading week and I ended up listening to The Fury of the Gods and playing a few games that took up quite a bit of time (the annual Minecraft binge). It’s felt like spring here for the last week, but it’s supposed to snow again Tuesday 😦

I’ve been reading Emily Wilde this week but it’s so slow in the beginning I almost put it aside. It’s finally getting to the meat of the story, though.

LOL, I knew what you meant 😀 I personally liked Shadow of the Gods more than Hunger, but that seems to be an outlier opinion. I love a Norse inspired fantasy, but I also have to be in the right reading mood/headspace.
