Arcana Academy by Elise Kova
This has a competitive school setting and a cool tarot based magic system. I was a little skeptical at first because certain elements were kind of generic or ‘seen it before’, but I’m actually having a lot of fun with it!
I’ll probably finish Arcana Academy today, but I have NO idea what I’d like to read next so this is my only feature for the week. I’ll also be finishing up The Incandescent on audiobook either today or tomorrow and I’m not sure what I want to listen to next either. It has to be something short(ish) because my pre-order of Stone & Sky by Ben Aaronovitch will be available on July 8 and I want to begin that straight away.

Arcana Academy is new to me, and I’m glad it’s good even though it might have predictable tropes. I love that feeling of finishing a book and not knowing what I’m reading next. The possibilities are endless😁

Arcana Academy ended up being super fun! I decided to pick up The Library at Mount Char next, which has been on my TBR for YEARS at this point.
