This week’s theme is all about books guaranteed to put an end to the dreaded reading slump. Unsurprisingly, many of my recs are fast paced, attention grabbing reads because I can usually read them pretty quickly and the simple act of finishing a book is what gets me motivated for the next one! I’ve linked my reviews of each of the books listed below so you can see exactly why I loved them!

I loved The Daughter of No Worlds and the next two in that trilogy. They are still my favourite books by Carissa Broadbent.

I still have to read Shield of Sparrows and Daughter of No Worlds someday.

I also often go for the fast-paced fun reads if I’m in a slump, but I have to be careful not to get into a rut of only reading those books and not getting out of the slump enough to read the other kinds of books I like!

I had Daughter of No Worlds in my Audible wishlist as it’s currently included in the membership, but then I literally just deleted it as it’s another series and I didn’t want to get hooked on when I have too many already on my tbr aha – now I’m rethinking whether I need to quickly go and listen to it after all, before it’s not included anymore at the end of the month! xo
