Weekly Recap: 12/21/25

I decided to pick up Foundling Fathers by Meg Elison as a palate cleanser before starting The Strength of the Few. It’s not out until June, but I read a few pages and it really had a great opening hook so I read the whole thing! I’m roughly halfway through The Strength of the Few, which is incredible but now has multiple perspectives, so I’m continually frustrated that it switches right when it gets to a ‘good’ part! I’m also still working through Shadows Upon Time a few hours here and there.

I’m off work all this week and will be focusing on wrapping the last few gifts and making another batch of cookies and rum balls, which I’ve never made before. I won’t be posting much this week – just my Can’t Wait Wednesday post and a Stacking the Shelves post on Saturday. I hope you all enjoy the holidays and get all the books on your wishlist!
