This week I made good progress and finished The Strength of the Few, which was incredible. It left me reeling and desperately searching for news of the third book (The Justice of One). After that I picked up Hopeless Necromantic, which unfortunately did not work for me. It was just a little bland even though I liked a lot of the ideas. I’ve made it to the final 9 hours of Shadows Upon Time! I hope to finish it this week, though I think I’ve been saying that for awhile now 😅.
I had a nice, low key holiday week and enjoyed a Christmas Eve gathering with my immediate family and my in-laws. Christmas really is more fun with a child – the magic of the season means something again!
