Top 5 Blind Bought Books

This is a list of five books that I randomly picked-up and really enjoyed. Sometimes a cover is super appealing, the synopsis sounds interesting, or the title is just plain cool. You go out on a limb, and find a new favorite series, or auto-buy author.

The Rook by Daniel O’Malley

Dream London by Tony Ballantyne

The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch

Malice by John Gwynne

Sandstorm by James Rollins

I would love to hear about your favorite blind-buys so I might find some more awesome books!

  1. Three of my absolute favorite blind-buys?

    Lexicon, by Max Barry;

    The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern (I read this before the major hype set in!);

    Girl on a Wire, by Gwenda Bond

    All of these books are super engaging, the covers are WAY pretty, and I picked them all up on gut instinct alone pretty much!
