Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where bloggers feature a book that we just can’t wait to get our hands on!

I haven’t read any of the actual Norse myths, though I’m familiar with many of the stories so that makes the thought of reading this version pretty appealing. Neil Gaiman tells a magical story that will stick with you and I hope this is much the same. That’s pretty much all that needs to be said about this enticing rendition of Norse Mythology. Though, on second thought, did I mention it has a lovely cover? This will be released February 7, 2017. Has anyone snagged an advanced copy? If so, what did you think?

Totally agree it has an awesome cover and alas, I failed in my attempt at an advance copy, I even had to resort to trying to win a goodreads giveaway for it, also with no luck.😂

I entered the giveaway too! I didn’t have much hope of getting an ARC of this one, so I didn’t even try :p

Wasn’t a huge fan of the one Gaiman novel I tried, but I did enjoy the premise. Will give this a go as it’s Norse mythology. Which is just awesome subject matter.

I’ve read 3 Gaiman books, all of which were good but not something I’ll re-read. I’m all about the Norse mythology though!

I listened to the audio book of American Gods. It promised so much for the ending … only to kind of go out with a whimper instead of a bang, in my opinion.

Not the biggest Neil Gaiman fan here, but I gotta say this intrigues me because of the subject matter 🙂
