Blood of Assassins is soon upcoming sequel to Age of Assassins which was released a mere few months ago. I love when authors don’t make me wait a year or more in between books! This almost guarantees I’ll actually remember what was happening and not start out clueless for the first 50 pages. I can’t wait for more Girton adventures and hopefully Rufra will frequent the pages, as it seems he’ll be a major player. Will he retain his friendship with Girton? I dearly hope so! This is scheduled for release February 13, 2018.

I wonder if more authors will start this kind of release schedule, write the whole trilogy, then release it within months of each other? Sure would be nice for us readers but would mean a longer wait between projects. I’d be ok with it, as I cycle through authors/series anyway, so a couple of years between projects wouldn’t be a problem.

I would prefer that! They’d be spaced out enough that you wouldn’t get burned out reading the same series, but close enough that youh wouldn’t have to re-read stuff!

I didn’t read the first book, but this is a series I’m planning on getting to someday. I love when sequels come out quickly as well!
